The SBMU Toxicological Research Center (TRC )began its research and academic activities in 2006 by benefitting from the cooperation of the outstanding academic staff from around the country.

The SBMU TRC short-Term & Long-Term Goals:

  1. Conducting fundamental clinical and epidemiological researches;
  2. Training skilled and specialized human resources;
  3. Promoting and attracting the cooperation of the interested physicians and researchers;
  4. Conducting research projects from other universities and research centers;
  5. Collaborating with other research centers, such as the infectious diseases, lung & tuberculosis, toxicological associations, AIDS, and the TUMS Pharmaceutical Research Center;
  6. Collaborating with the Society of Toxicology of Canada
